Welcome to 2004!

Happy New Year!

I can't believe it's 2004 already - and already a week into it too! Shoot, remember Y2K?!! It used to be so cool to "party like it's 1999", and now, even that's SO 5 years ago!

I haven't seen any of those "2005" Space Odyssey movies (or was it 2010?), but are we gonna start seeing flying cars and begin taking vacations on the moon?

*shrug*

I gotta lose weight before summer... who wants to be my diet buddy?

My mind is wandering right now. I'll be back later to tell you about my mom's friend who got scammed in Vegas... it's incredibly unbelievable she even fell for it (laughing under my breath), but, it's one of those: if they want it bad enough, they'll believe anything that promise to give it to them no matter how stupid.
