The Sticky Keyboard Problem...

Monday, October 25, 2004

Browsing the blogs in my "Frequent Reads" list, I found that Jason Cain recently had some problems with his sticky keyboard. To avoid finding yourself in a similar predicament, I suggest you invest $10 on a KeySkin® Keyboard Protector to keep dust, crumbs, spills, and other nasty things from damaging your keyboard.

As a matter of fact, we recently bought one for Joshua's keyboard because he seems to have taken up a liking for pouring chocolate milk and juice all over it... as well as smashing and smearing cake and playdoh in between each key. Theses covers make cleaning much easier, plus, it saves us $8 per mess.

I have a sticky keyboard. It is because I am a sweaty male. I know. Ewww. But when I look online under sticky keyboards, all I get are geeks with two hour cleaning programmes and a list of cleaning agents as long as my arm. This would be fine except that, on the next sunny day, like, tomorrow, I would get sweaty again. And my keyboard would get sticky. Again. Are there any five minute solutions out there? Someone could be making a marketing million from sweaty males. Like me. I know. Ewwww.
