Terri's Husband Is A Bastardo

Monday, October 20, 2003

My grandpa is currently in a rehab/nursing home hooked up to a ventilator. He's able to recognize us and respond to what we say and ask. It's so sad... he was so active, and now he can't even talk, walk or breathe on his own. But, he recently promised to teach me how to plant a vegetable garden when he gets better, so, I know he'll be okay. Anyway, just a background to why the following news hits home.

It's about a woman named Terri Schindler-Schiavo, who at age 26, suffered brain damage from a sudden collapse. She gets her food and water via feeding tube, but, she's *not* on a respirator or any artificial life support, and Terri smiles, laughs, cries, recognizes voices and responds. (See for yourself)

Her husband and legal guardian Michael Schiavo apparently believes you do not need a brain to laugh, cry, and respond to others because he claims Terri is a "brain dead vegetable".

He wants her dead.

Why? Terri has $750,000 in a medical trust fund for her care and rehabilitation. If Terry dies, her husband inherits what's left of it. To top it off, he lives with Jodi Centonze to whom he has been engaged for over seven years. They've recently given birth to a baby girl, and has announced plans to marry when Terri is no longer alive.

It looks like hubby dearest really, really wants Terri gone... and guess what he's doing about it? He asked the court to withdraw Terri's feeding tube which supplies her nutrition and water, and petitioned that Terri's body be cremated immediately after death to hide evidence of abuse that may have caused the collapse in the first place.

For some reason, the law is in *favor* of Michael Schiavo. They have taken Terri off her feeding tubes on Oct 15th, and she's expected to die within 2 weeks. Remember now, she is still able to recognize and respond to familiar voices and she is *NOT* on any life support.

She's basically being starved to death because her bastardo of a husband wants her cash and start a new life with someone else... and FL laws say that's A-OK.

Please sign a simple petition that will be e-mailed to 157 Florida Representatives and Senators. It's just one short form - I don't know what else I can do... imagine if it were your mother/father, sister/brother, daughter/son... she's even been denied last rites because the Judge ruled "nothing by mouth".

He said - She said...

If they tried to use starvation for capital punishment, it would be considered cruel and unusual. In this case, it appears to be OK since Terri isn't actually guilty of anything. Nice! Where are the doctors? I hope they didn't actually comply with this.

"terri has $750,000 in a trust fund for her medical care and rehabilitation."

given the date on your web page, it would appear that you are LYING. the correct amount remaining in that trust fund is around $50,000, and will soon be depleted. this information is readily available on the internet, and is not what one could call a recent development.
this is but one of a great deal of disinformation i see in your few paragraphs.
you really need to get away from the schindler's hopelessly biased web site and discover the truth of the matter. while i can sympatize with their plight (parents should never outlive their children), they need to let go. the courts have repeatedly found michael schiavo to be a credible witness. they have carefully looked at all the medical evidence, tons of it, and all arguments from all sides. the florida legislature has hardly looked at the matter at all. they have instead bowed to the weight of emails from religious fanatics and right-to-life'rs to pass an unconstitutional law allowing the executive branch to second-guess a decision of the judicial branch. this is an egregious violation of the separation of powers clause.

The above report not only indicates that absolutely nothing suspicious was
found as the result of this exhaustive investigation, but also that the
'marks' and 'needle cap' (which turned out to part of an irrigation kit)
were found PRIOR to Terri's parents visiting that day.

Additionally, I encourage you to read the press release issued by Mr. Felos
the night of the alleged incident here:
http://zimp.org/documents/felospr032904.pdf in which he states that a
forensic team was investigating the matter. In speaking personally with the
Clearwater Police Department, I have learned that they don't even have a
forensic team.
