Movable Type made SimpleSaturday, August 02, 2003
» Filed Under: Blogging
I've recently mentioned several hosted blogging services making personal publishing extremely painless for even the newest Internet user. Well, I have good news for those of you eyeing Movable Type, the same script I use for my diary. On Monday, August 4 at 11:59 pm (Pacific), Six Apart (the people bringing you Movable Type), will open registrations for the preview release of their new full-featured hosted personal publishing service: TypePad. TypePad is an upcoming hosted service providing powerful tools for creating full-featured weblogs. Built in response to the needs of webloggers, online diarists and writers, TypePad harnesses the power of Six Apart's popular Movable Type personal publishing system into a simple service, suitable for beginners and experts alike. Starting at just $4.95 a month, this service is worth checking out if you've been wanting to start your own weblog (but put off by the install/customize process).
