Yahoo! News reports, "McDonald's Appeals to Mothers With Web Promotion". They campaign is pushed via e-mail newsletter to draw more moms into the restaurants with coupons, parenting advice, and health and nutritional information.

If you're interested, sign up for the newsletter at http://mcmoms.com... notice the pictured menu items: yogurt with fruit and a salad. What about their greasy hamburgers and fries? That wouldn't be very McMom-ly, I guess. But, MickyD's knew we'd ask that, so they're testing out "alternatives"... apples instead of fries in Happy Meals, Premium salads, and promoting milk as an alternative to sodas.

hint: based on research conducted by McDonald's lead agency, DDB in Chicago, theyt found that about 75% of moms with children under 9 years old use the Internet as their primary source of information.
