Emphasize or Downplay Content for AdSense Targeting

Are your page header, footer, and navigation menus bringing up irrelevant AdSense ads? Give their "section targeting" a try...

Section targeting allows you to suggest sections of your text and HTML content that you'd like us to emphasize or downplay when matching ads to your site's content.

Sounds simple enough... just ad the following HTML tags around the content of your page that you want to emphasize for ad targeting:

<!-- google_ad_section_start -->

<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

and... add the following tags around the content of your page (ie. header, menu, ad blocks, etc.) that you want ignored:

<!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
