You can with MindSay.com. This new website (June, 2003) makes creating, customizing, and updating your blog completely painless. You get a personalized URL like yourname.mindsay.com, and the ability to submit your entry via web or AOL Instant Messenger.
Great for newbies, although I'd still go with Blogger.com for all the features even my *mom* can easily figure out without help : ) But, if you think posting via AIM is what you need, then check out MindSay.

Took me about 2 minutes to sign up and post my first entry.
As for me, I'll stick with movabletype. I've yet to find better.
