Blacklisting MT Comment Spam

I've just installed MT-Blacklist, a plugin for Movable Type to recognize and delete comment and trackback spam in one step. The script searches for the spamvertised URL in the comment/trackback since blog spammers put their links all over the web to increase their Google Pagerank.

It only took me a few minutes to install and the plug in allows you to import a master blacklist of over 480 blog spammers. Only requirement is you must have Movable Type 2.6.

Download it here.
