Hi Dariana,

I've been using the free version for quite sometime, and never heard about any image issues from non-Trillian users I'm chatting with.

However, I use instant messaging for quick chats with colleagues and clients, so, I don't use unusual smilies or exchange images. I wonder if that has something to do with it?

And thanks for the heads-up about the "Z" software! Sounds annoying!!

: )

Trillian has been around a very long time. I used to use it but unless the other party is also using trillian, they get messages that they can NOT see your smilies, images, and repeated invitations to download trillian. I finally deleted it. There is another trillian-like program called Zango or Zanga which does all the same as well. My advice is DO NOT download it, as it is full of ads that nearly take over your browser. I must say, I never had that problem with Trillian though. Glad you enjoy it.
